The Gold Coast is really the region with the mega theme parks, but there are some great parks right in the Sunshine Coast that are a bit more educational and artsy and can make for great fun. These are the type of parks that can keep you entertained all day long, without the super-sized rides that some love, but others hate.

At Castle Bli Bli you have the chance to explore and ancient medieval castle. Within the walls you will be able to explore a torture chamber, medieval armor and dancing dolls for different world regions. You can venture into the dungeons and look at the displays of ancient fairy stories and artifacts. When you venture up to the tower you got an amazing view of the countryside and cane fields. Castle Bli Bli is a great day for everyone in your family.
Aussie World: This incredible free park is a popular tourist attraction and home to some of the best dining and shopping Aussie style. There is even a neat Pub based on a comic book that is filled with lots of abstract goodies that makes it well worth a look around, it is the Ettamogah Pub. Underwater World: A trip to Underwater World Mooloolaba is a magical underwater adventure. An opportunity to see sharks, crocs, stingrays, and whales in their natural habitat, under the water, walk through the underwater, glass tunnel and you will be able to be a part of the action. You will see turtles, seals, eels and some of the most colorful coral you will ever see. Underwater World is an amazing treat, an adventure like scuba diving and snorkeling without having to immerse yourself under the water.
